Public Transportation Nightmare By Tony Greene Today of all days, me and my two sons decided to catch a bus to the local mall. Now mind you, i have had my fair share of nightmares with regard to riding the local transportation system. If you call "school buses" with a coat of shiny paint a "bus system". I'm talking horrible ride, garbage laden, funky ripped up seats on buses. The kids didn't think too much of this environment since they haven't been exposed to a true mass transit system. Thinking of the grunge days of my New York City subway rides to upper Manhattan, this ride on a horrible bus brought back ever so efficiently. You would think that a small county like Pasco County in Florida could have a few decent buses on the more well-traveled lines. But no, that's just way too much to ask. The whole ride there and back to the mall just disgusted me. I put myself in a cleaner place, like the subway system of Stuttgart,Germany. Hell even the buses in South Korea were much nicer than what we rode on today. I just found it appalling to live in such a nice area to have the crappiest transit for public use.
